Guide to raise my cutie husbands

Chapter 1276 A big danger (2)

When Yu Dong finished her bath, her mind which was clouded with a blood thirst cleared up a bit. She was no longer as angry as she was three days ago and her urges to kill also diminished down. However, Yu Dong knew that there were some things that she still had to do, for example taking a look at the building that she had burned down.

She needed one of the shadow guards who would keep an eye on that building because she was sure that Xian Xieren would send a person to investigate what happened in that building.

In that case, Yu Dong had to catch that person! For she knew that this matter was most likely related to Xian Xieren, even if she didn't find out who was behind the mill, she must have found out that it was someone from the Big River Village, who came up with the idea of making oil out of rice bran which gave not only high-quality oil but also took care of the useless rice bran.

As for why those assassins targeted her, it must be because they saw her being closely acquainted with Li Wan and Qiao Sha.

'Since I refused to work with that woman, she now wants to kill me eh?' Yu Dong thought spitefully. If this was the case then one person who was responsible for this mess should clean it!

Yu Dong was rather angry when she thought about how her family was being targeted just because of a woman's greed. However since she couldn't deal with the one who was sitting in the capital, she would deal with the one who was sitting in the town. Stay updated with empiren/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"How dare they, after promising me that nothing will happen to my family…" Yu Dong sneered as she wiped her hair and walked out of the bathing room. She had no time to waste, now that her spiritual core was calmer than it was when she killed those assassins, Yu Dong could finally step out of the house without worrying about stabbing someone to death.

As she stepped out of the bathing room, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed in her surroundings before a body hurled itself into her arms. If not for the fact that Yu Dong was prepared the two of them have fallen on the ground.

"Ah Mi what are you doing?" Yu Dong questioned. Her brows furrowed as she looked down at the mer in her arms. "You could have hurt yourself, was getting kidnapped not enough?"

Chen Mi raised his head. He knew it, his wife was still angry at the kidnapping. With big tears sticking to his eyes, he said to Yu Dong, "I am sowwy… I will never follow strangers from now on. Don't be angry."

As he spoke he rubbed his small head against Yu Dong. Seeing him acting like a spoiled child Yu Dong sighed however she did not let him off that easily.

"You all will be punished, for the next three months your monthly allowance will be reduced to two taels. In case you need more money just ask me, and I will pay for it," Yu Dong stated coldly, causing Chen Mi to stiffen.

There was this restaurant that he wanted to visit but with his monthly allowance reduced, there was no way he would be able to dine in that place!

Though he felt wronged, he knew that they were in the wrong and thus they had to accept the punishment.

Shen Li and the others had nothing to say. While Xiao Hua heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that Yu Dong was fine, he was really worried when he heard from Xiao Zimo that he saw Yu Dong step out of the carriage while covered in blood.

"You really know how to scare me," he stated with a huff. "I was this close to breaking the door with an axe."

"I apologize for scaring you all," Yu Dong accepted her mistake with a smile she then turned to look at Shen Li and questioned, "So what did you learn from this incident?"

Her words caused the mers to stiffen while Xiao Hua very neatly separated himself from the 'idiot' group as he would never do something so foolish as following a stranger to his house.

No matter what!

Since he was not in the wrong, he needed to clear up his position.

Shen Li's face bloomed with a furious blush before he cleared his throat and then stated, "We shouldn't have followed a stranger to his house, we have learned our lesson. From now on we will never trust a stranger."

"Yes we will never think of following a stranger ever again," chimed Ye Liu while Fang Chi nodded on the side.

Yu Dong didn't make things difficult for them, since they knew that they were in the wrong it was enough.

"You all stay at home, if there is something you need just tell the mammies to buy it for you," since there was danger lurking in every corner of the town, they might as well stay at home.

Though Yu Dong didn't want to lock them up, she would be at ease if they stayed at home.

"I understand," Shen Li wanted to refuse but when he saw the expression on his wife's face, he understood something was going on.

Once he agreed the rest couldn't say anything, after all the authority lay in the hands of Yu Dong and Shen Li, if they agreed on something then they would have to listen to their instructions.

But the good thing was that Yu Dong was not angry with them!

"Dong Dong, where are you heading to?" Shen Li asked when he saw Yu Dong dressed impeccably. Just now he was too worried about facing Yu Dong's anger and thus didn't pay attention to her attire but now that he took a look at it, he realized that Yu Dong was wearing a very formal attire.

"Ah this," Yu Dong smiled while a nerve throbbed on her forehead. "I am going to see a certain someone who promised that my family would be safe… since such an incident happened, she has to take responsibility. Kekeke.."

On the other side at the magistrate's office.

"Magistrate Li what happened?" Li Wan's aide questioned when she saw Li Wan dropping the quill.

Sweat trickled down Li Wan's back as she frowned and stated, "I have a feeling that a big danger is heading my way."
