Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Chapter 743: Living In Safe House

Chapter 743: Living In Safe House

The morning sun was creeping through the blinds as Wang Jian slipped out of bed, careful not to wake Bella. She stirred slightly, her body still soft and relaxed after the night they had shared. Wang Jian glanced at her peaceful face, a satisfied smirk playing on his lips before he silently dressed and headed out.

It wasn't a long drive to the warehouse where Charlotte's attackers were being held. The place had been fortified by her security team, and the gang members were restrained in separate cells, hands and feet bound, their faces bruised and dirty from the scuffle that had ensued during their capture.

Wang Jian entered the warehouse, his footsteps echoing across the cold, concrete floor. Charlotte's head of security greeted him with a curt nod and led him towards the first of the restrained men. They were all gang members-gruff, violent-looking individuals, but fear was evident in their eyes as Wang Jian approached. His reputation among them had clearly preceded him, thanks to the brutal efficiency with which he had dealt with their comrades.

"Ready to talk?" Wang Jian asked, his tone almost casual, but there was an underlying menace that caused the gang member to flinch.

The man glared up at him but didn't say a word. Wang Jian crouched down to his level, his expression softening slightly as if he was about to give him some advice. "You know, it's only going to get worse if you don't start talking. I'm not in a rush, but I can promise you that if you make me wait, things won't end well for you."

There was a silence that stretched on for a moment before the gang member, sensing the weight of Wang Jian's words, broke.

"They sent us," the man began, his voice low and shaky. "We got orders from higher up. Someone really important, a VVIP."

"Who?" Wang Jian pressed, his eyes narrowing.

"I don't know exactly. We don't get names. Just instructions. We were supposed to take care of Charlotte, make it look like an accident, but..." His voice trailed off, his eyes darting nervously toward the door as if hoping for some sort of escape.

Wang Jian leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper. "You failed. Now more will come, isn't that right?"

The man nodded frantically, his fear growing by the second. "Yeah... yeah. Now that we've failed, others will be sent. It won't stop. More gangs, more firepower. We were just the first wave."

Wang Jian stood up, towering over the gang member, his expression unreadable. "Who's next? Who's coming?"

"They're organizing... I heard something about more of us teaming up. Different gangs, coming together for the next job. We were just the test run."

Satisfied with the information, Wang Jian gestured to Charlotte's security team to take the man away. He moved on to the next gang member, repeating the process. Each of them gave him the same basic story-a powerful client had hired them, and there were more attacks coming. It was just a matter of time.

Once he was done interrogating Charlotte's attackers, Wang Jian made his way to the second warehouse where Sarah's security team had restrained the men who had attacked her. These men were just as frightened as the others, if not more so, and they broke down even faster under Wang Jian's interrogation.

The story was the same. They had been hired anonymously, given instructions to target Sarah, and now that they had failed, the mission would escalate. More gangs would take up the task, and the attacks would grow more intense.

Wang Jian left the warehouse with a lot on his mind. He now had enough information to know that Charlotte and Sarah were in far more danger than they realized. The attacks were just the beginning, and the only way to protect them was to take more drastic measures.

Later that afternoon, Wang Jian called both Charlotte and Sarah to meet him in a private room in a nearby high-end restaurant. They arrived separately, each one dressed elegantly as always, their presence commanding attention the moment they walked in. Charlotte was in a sleek, form-fitting black dress that accentuated her curves, while Sarah wore a deep red dress that highlighted her sharp features and slender waist.

Wang Jian couldn't help but let his gaze linger on their bodies for a moment longer than necessary. He was playing a long game with these two, and their allure only made his plan all the more enjoyable.

"So," Wang Jian began, leaning back in his chair as both women sat across from him, "I've interrogated the men who attacked you."

Charlotte and Sarah exchanged nervous glances.

"What did you find out?" Sarah asked, her voice steady, but there was an edge of fear behind her words.

Wang Jian took a deep breath, deliberately pausing before responding. "It's worse than I thought. The men I questioned said they were only the first wave. More gangs are being hired to come after both of you. It's not going to stop anytime soon."Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Charlotte gasped softly, her hand flying to her mouth. Sarah, on the other hand, clenched her fists, her eyes narrowing with determination. "What are we supposed to do, then? We can't just live in constant fear."

"That's why I called you both here." Wang Jian leaned forward, his eyes flicking between the two women. "I have a solution, but it's going to require some cooperation from both of you."

"What is it?" Charlotte asked, her voice trembling slightly.

"You need to combine your security teams. Both of you. It'll make it easier to protect you, especially if you're in the same location. I know of a safe house where you can stay together, and I can keep an eye on you personally. These attacks aren't going to stop until we figure out who's behind them, and it's safer for you to be together."

Charlotte and Sarah looked at each other again, their expressions conflicted. It wasn't an easy decision, and Wang Jian knew that. But it was part of his plan. If he could get them to live together, they would become more dependent on him, and more importantly, they would start competing for his attention.

Sarah finally broke the silence. "And you'll stay with us? As our personal bodyguard?"

Wang Jian nodded. "Of course. I'll make sure neither of you is in danger. But we need to act fast. The next attack could be even bigger than the last."

Charlotte bit her lip, clearly anxious. "I don't know... it feels like we're putting a lot on you. What if something happens?"

Wang Jian gave her a reassuring smile. "I've already handled one gang without breaking a sweat. I can handle whatever comes next."

Sarah was silent for a moment, her brow furrowed in thought. Finally, she looked at Wang Jian and nodded. "Alright. I'll do it. If it means keeping my family safe, then I'll stay at the safe

house."

Charlotte hesitated for a moment longer before sighing. "Fine. I'll agree too. But promise me, Wang Jian, that you won't take any unnecessary risks."

Wang Jian's eyes gleamed as he looked at both women, his plan falling into place. "You have

my word."

As they finalized the details, Wang Jian couldn't help but let his eyes wander over the two women's bodies once more. He could already see the tension building between them, the way Charlotte subtly glanced at Sarah when Wang Jian spoke to her, and the way Sarah seemed to stiffen whenever Wang Jian paid more attention to Charlotte.

This was exactly what he wanted. Soon enough, their need for his protection and their growing jealousy would push them to break past the barriers of morality they had set for themselves. All he had to do was wait.

And when that time came, Wang Jian would be there to take full advantage of it.
