Temporal Pearls

Chapter 193: Mountain Dust

Never once did he stop for more than 10 minutes. His gait was steady, his eyes sharp, his butt as small as before but also they began to like it. It was cute.

The baby dragons were also liking his little snake that swayed as he walked, they knew that was the equivalent of the price jewel of all life forms.

"Seth Enoch!~ Temra called

"Yes, my beloved red!" He stopped and looked at her.

~Do you want to know how to escape~ she asked. She had felt like telling him but refused to until he asked.

"I will walk till eternity," He said before he continued. He failed to notice that Vela was dragging her tail across the white smooth floor, her head was low, and her claws that stroke the floor as she walked were pale white.

Vira was still energetic but she too was beginning to tire out. Only Tenra was still full of energy.

Soon as more months passed, Vela's scales were becoming white until they were completely white and began to crack, her bones also weakened and showed signs of cracking.

That was when Vira attacked...

~Die, traitor, ~

She lunged at Vela at the speed of sound with a wide mouth to kill her. Vela's body vibrated and her wings tried to take off but her bones broke and she wasn't even capable of standing. She collapsed and waited to be killed but a pressure descent protected her.

~Why? Temra. We shall kill this stupid variant~ Vira said in anger as she was flung away from Vela.

A telepathic voice echoed in their mind as Temra roared in anger.

~Do you two fools know who we are up against? That boy is our master and there is no way for us to escape from him. Not even I can escape. And now you are fighting to kill each other. We need to work together that is our only chance against him~

Her anger was real, she was the only one who knew their true situation.

"I always think you are not a true dragon. You act more like a human that became one!" Seth said. He looked at them when he heard the word traitor again.

"She didn't tell me a thing regarding you. Me capturing four of you is all fate. So stop blaming others. Well, Vela is better, she was injured when I captured her but you are strong and mighty, a leader of a human village. I outsmarted you and dragged you to her cave then fought you and captured you."

~I'm closest to humans because I understand them. But you never like me, despite my kindness to you~

Seth was silent for a moment before he said, "Actually, it was your nagging that was irritating. I fought Temra head-on, and after the defeat, she knew she lost and she never threw blame at others. I know she was severely injured by another fighter."

He said.

"The truth was I like your aspect most. Your scales were very versatile in daily activities than super speed and Temperature"

~You mean our abilities are worthless~ Temra growled.

"Nah. I said daily activity. I use my voice to speak. I hear what others say. It's sound and vibration. Daily functions.

But Temperature that precious thing that has infinite possibility but also pickles does not miss-used it" He said casually before he turned and began to walk away.

Vela couldn't move, she was barely breathing until Temra breathed fire on her body. She recovered and walked with them.

There was dead silence, and dead white and a bleak situation was growing in all of them. If not because of Temra, Vela would have become white dust but Vira was being affected too. Soon Temra has to protect her too.

She used her pressure and body warms to keep them going. They could say a few words and escape but they refused to due to their pride.

In what seemed to be years Temra realised that these two stubborn men weren't going to bend their knees, their body was already half white smoke half white solid, and she was barely protecting them. she chuckled in approval because they have the pride of a dragon but then glared at them to do something.

"Seth!" The duo called softly, trying not to move hard, lest their body broke to pieces.

Seth turned to them and his eyes widened, he had not noticed them like that.

"Take us back!" One of them said, Seth quickly brought the womb and stored them, leaving Temra out. Her scale now looked like a diamond with a burning fire inside. This journey was beneficial to her.

"You can go back any time, you want!" He said. Time continued to move and when the fire dragon couldn't keep up, the human became alone again.

Seth has become a zombie, there was only white in the white mind. Soon his mental power was no longer able to support him, it was what kept him safe and so his tattoo began to disappear one by one.

His skin had become white. It was then he realised that for all this time he has been leaking his mental force and aura. He felt they were now low.

"How can I escape?" he whispered. He really did think if he walked he would finish the quest.

~Break the white~

Temra said… but then a powerful force decent against what was said to him.

At that moment Seth's activated aura flashed and his body recovered somewhat. Then he clenched his hand that had the two pillars supporting a moon. The energy stored within them was used and his whole body came back to pristine as if it was now he appeared in the place.

He clenched his fist and intended to punch the white floor and he did but he sensed a wave of rage and anger, frustration and helplessness coming from somewhere else. And then his vision vanished.

He woke up and found himself sitting across a table with a man reading a newspaper. His face was normal but his pupil was a dark swirling abyss. On the table was a piece of paper that wrote What do you want?

There was no pen to write. But he did what he did best for now and that was pay with crystals. The more he added, the more some writing emerged on the paper until he emptied an entire pocket of crystal. And then a word appeared… Dark Void.

It was written with a dark ink that sucked in the surrounding air, even the crystal began to be dragged but the man waved his hand and they disappeared. Now there was less animosity on his face.

"Sascile Redone!" Seth said instinctively and the Dark Void's words shifted like a dark hole and his whole clothes were sucked in.

"Use your Pure White Stone Will" Retina echoed in his mind and he quickly thought about it and held on to it.

CRACK!

He felt as if a large stone inside him was breaking apart. The newspaper-reading man looked at him and flashed a smile, a sinister one. "If you do not have Pure White Stone, fall to your knees and serve me!"

Seth didn't respond as he was barely holding himself but also pulling whatever that was pulling him. His mind then split into two, he saw his real body was about to wake up again, and something for the second time was trying to possess him.

The moon above was becoming furious but she couldn't do a thing as the sun was above and her power weakened due to that.

The man's sinister eyes increased before he added, "I can only keep it at bay. Kneel and serve me!"

There was fear and indescribable despair that swelled up in Seth as more crack sounds were heard, and his tattoo of Stone Will was being splintered. He refused to serve the man but he feared he would be consumed by the dark void itself.

In danger scenarios, there was flight, fright or fight. Seth fought back, he grabbed at whatever force that was pulling him and pulled against it with all his rage and existence. It's better to die, real death than to have some unknown entity take his body. It might be weak but it was his own, and his own alone.

Shattered!

Pop!

The whole boulder of Pure White Stone Will exploded as he used It pulled back and also the Dark Void words were pulled off the paper and popped off like a balloon bursting.

The naked Seth in his saw a white mountain of gravel in dust, the dust filled the room and the black ink of Dark Void smeared on them, making it stick together and the white mountain was sucked into the Dark Void and merged into a single point before setting on Seth's chest. Where the Stone Will tattoo once was.
