Temporal Pearls

Whenever one faces dragon breath they will feel inferior and their pride is crushed they feel dominated and that crushed their will to resist or even try to escape.

That was why the best survival skill against dragon breath was self-activated, not everyone can have the will to think through things in the face of that dominating force.

Now that Seth thinks about it, he didn't actually survive Dragon Breath directly but rather he burst into bubbles the moment the dragon breath touched him.

It was like an escape right before the actual breath that had Sure-kill and Sure-destruction touched him.

All 40 scales come out and they drum themselves while some writing appeared on them.

Seth said.

~I'm a Dragon and I know what you mean. But you humans are devious, intelligent and use a lot of tools~

Drumming scales dragon said.

~Yes, because we are physically and somewhat inferior. Anyway, I want you to give me, your Aspecto~

~Didn't Vela give you hers~

~Why did you say that?~

~If she told you her name, that means she trusts and requests something of you~

~So, you aren't going to give me yours. Come on, we are friends now.~

Before he continued, Seth heard a sound. He then ran outside. He found Blood Crodo and the first tamed Crodo fighting.

Each one was no longer the same, the Blood Crodo was now made of silver and blood liquid. It can mould its body into many things but ultimately reformed back to Rhino. Because it was made of Rhino blood.

The other Crodo was different but bigger and its coat had hair, unlike the normal crodo. It's changing but slowly.

Seeing him come, the two abominations ran back into the forest.

Seth checked the time remaining for cooling down to finish and there was a lot of time. He turned to the womb and had it hovered above him then he closed his eyes to sleep.

Two hours later, Seth woke up. He went through his fighting strategy and then tried to see if he can activate Vela Delarator Skyling Aspecto to no avail.

He sat, closed his eyes and listened to his heart. Being in meditation allowed him to observe his body and also move his aura.

Then he focused on the energy that the dragon gave him. One hour into that he grasped it. The energy was in his blood, and whenever it reached his heart, the heartbeat changed a bit as if it was heavier than blood.

But after it passed, he lost track of it. He began to wonder whether he had to digest it to use it. But he dismissed that. He can use it.

He woke up and ran around until he lost 5 EP. With all the intention of activating the Aspecto.

Thinking he might need some tension. He floated 100m which was his Graviton Effect limit and fell down fast. It didn't happen. Using elevated staff he went higher and came back, but still nothing.

He read the Aspecto but it didn't say anything about what he got from the dragon. It was after he sat down and Little Cub came out did he realize something.

"Aura Sight!"

Seth shouted and his eyes activated full power. The distinct aura in the room was so much apparent and he can focus on any of them. The green Aura was still there but he can neglect it.

"Vela Aspecto!" Seth blanked away for 2 seconds and when he woke up nothing happened.

Ding!

[You have Activated Vela Aspecto]

For an unknown reason, he was able to infer that he had blanked away for two seconds. But what he saw next confused him and at first, he felt his head weighing and ached as he was uncertain what it was.

From his sight, he saw lines showing countless trajectories his body could move, and any other movable part of his body.

That was to say, he saw a line denoting his leg moving forward straight, slightly 1cm, 2cm, and 3cm to the left and to the right side, up to the limit of his vision.

His hands also have that kind of possible trajectory outlined, so also his body. With a thought, he can make all the possibilities vanish because they adhere to his intention.

As he intended to move forward, the trajectory of his whole body movement appeared in his eyes, especially his leg movement.

As he raised his leg to move, he felt another part of the Aspecto. He felt 2 Nodes in his head. He was already on the First Node and he can move himself to ride on the second Node.

Seth walked toward the Blood Samples on a table where he kept them. There was a difference in his movement, as he felt he moved more efficiently and consumed less stamina.

"Stamina? Strange!"

He never thought he could feel his stamina and how to tap on it. But Seth didn't understand that, so he focused on other things he felt from the Aspecto.

And that was the air resistance. He felt air resistance, pushing him back but he also tapped into the first Node he felt he was on and reduced the air resistance.

Remembering a bit about Physics, he knew that air was the greatest hindrance as objects move. So, if he was able to go against that and made it irrelevant, that means he can go faster than normal. It's like reducing the weight of movements.

He pushed to Second Node but he felt he was pushed back to the first. Seth then moved around with no problems but he can't register how fast he is moving.

So, he stepped outside. That was when he saw the world of difference. Everything was moving slowly, not super slow.

He walked out to the gate and that was when he felt how fast he was actually moving. Extremely fast to his standard of course.

The feeling was scary but also great, anything he did regarding the Aspecto, Seth will have direct information about what it was and how to use it better.

EP is an exertion point.

"Hmm. This is good!"

Seth calmly turned off the power. And everything came back to normal. He felt a pang of headache and a little fatigue. So, also the heaviness in his body was gone.

He didn't understand it, so he went and meditated. An hour later he woke up and activated the Aspecto for a minute and then meditated. He did that until it was 3 hours before the Halo Pulse could down.

He washed and read the strategy, and then grabbed the womb and went out for the next dragon conquest. Dragon Rabbit Foot was on his hand, even though he felt its power had reduced a lot.

Going west, as that was where he felt the pull, Seth felt a bit wary. There was uncertainty in the atmosphere. But even if he failed, he has a trump card.

The journey was long but there was something different about him and he can't say it was Vela Aspecto but he can't remember what it was until he saw a distant place with a large transparent barrier rippling. Everything in it was floating but froze in place.

"The Gravity Effect made me immune to the pressure of the continent" Seth realized. There was no difference between the Living Root and the outside.

If he wasn't in a dangerous area he would have tested if he could float above. Suddenly something exploded and everything moved, the stone and debris fell down. But the dust was everywhere.

Seth doesn't want to be caught in whatever that was. The luck value has a time limit, so he has to use his time correctly.

Seth went around the dust and even ran far ahead. He reached areas with a lot of mountains and he weaved around. Suddenly a roar of a dragon sounded. He found a corner and hid. He used his Pure Stone Heart skill he hasn't used for long. Rocky stealth.

By staying unmoving for some time, he will be perceived as a stone. After the dragon left he came out and checked the area with Aura sight. Nothing at first but then he saw something. A rock with a heartbeat.
