Lin Shen summoned Wei over and, when night fell, he teleported with him to the Ring Mountain Planet, planning to ascend there.

Lin Shen took out the Primeval Egg that Wei Wufu had given him, a glittering star-like, dove egg-sized Primeval Egg.

Primeval Eggs are generally not large; this Primeval Egg had nebulae swirling inside, with stars interweaving like a miniature universe.

After making preparations, Lin Shen set aside all his belongings and then swallowed the Primeval Egg.

As soon as the Primeval Egg entered his stomach, Lin Shen immediately started circulating Evolution Theory. A strange strength instantly began to pervade his body.

A carapace, black as onyx, automatically appeared, enveloping his entire body.

The peculiar strength within his body intermingled with his flesh and carapace, reigniting the evolution in his body that had ceased.

Lin Shen felt as though his body was undergoing countless universal big bangs.

The various cells within his body, one by one, burst forth like fireworks. His body emitted a large amount of smoke, and the originally black carapace also flickered with light continuously.

Wherever Evolution Theory flowed, cells constantly exploded. After each cell burst, it formed a smaller cell inside, a cycle of destruction and rebirth. These newborn cells seemed slightly different from the originals, as if infused with some elements that weren't there before.

These new elements originated from the combination of Lin Shen's own Base Mutation materials and the Ascension Egg substances.

The entire ascension process was the bursting, restructuring, and transforming of all the cells in Lin Shen's body.

Ascension would reshape the entire body, allowing carbon-based organisms to adapt better to the universe, breaking free from the constraints of the survival environment of their home planets.

Wei Wufu watched Lin Shen, his body shrouded in white mist, and although he knew the ascension process wouldn't conclude that quickly, he didn't use the Spirit Bases to enhance his own Life Base. Instead, he observed his surroundings more, ensuring that no disturbances would affect Lin Shen's ascension.

Lin Shen was at his most vulnerable, virtually defenseless; even a Steel Mutator might be able to kill him at this juncture.

Evolution Theory circulated again and again, the cells within Lin Shen's body bursting more and more numerously, speeding up. Even the dense fog outside his body couldn't hide the glow emitted from the large number of explosive cells.

Wei Wufu furrowed his brows slightly, feeling that the pace of Lin Shen's transformation seemed too fast.

The cells' explosion became more intense, and what was emerging from Lin Shen's body was no longer just smoke; it blazed with fierce flames.

Wei Wufu stared at Lin Shen, having never seen such a phenomenon before. The smoke emitted during Ascension was the impurity expelled during cellular explosion, recombination, and mutation; it was also the remnants of dying old cells.

This substance could actually ignite, something Wei Wufu had never witnessed before.

Enveloped in those fierce flames, Wei Wufu could not sense Lin Shen's current state; he could only wait by the side, hoping that Lin Shen would make it through this ordeal.

As long as he made it through this, by the time he consolidated his Life Base, there would basically be no great risk anymore.

The flames on Lin Shen's body continued to burn, lasting for nearly seven or eight hours before gradually extinguishing.

Wei Wufu saw Lin Shen's body suspended in the air, his entire being like a Silver Crystal, with countless lights flickering within.

However, Ascension was only halfway done at this point; next, he had to consolidate his Life Base.

The suspended Lin Shen's body was emitting fine particles like Silver Crystal, those particles gradually coming together to form a massive silver crystalline Giant Egg.

Because too many silver particles poured out from Lin Shen's body, the originally shining Carapace gradually reverted to its original color of black crystal, and Lin Shen's body returned to its state of flesh and blood.

In this state, Lin Shen's body unexpectedly began to exude mist again, his flesh and blood undergoing cellular recombination and mutation once more.

Wei Wufu was filled with doubt. The Life Base had already begun to form, so why were the cells exploding, mutating, and recombining again?
