The group arrived at the castle, got down, and rushed inside.

They moved their gazes on the throne hall, seeing the five senators standing with solemn expressions.

"We heard the news? What happened? How did he die?" Angela asked, rushing inside.

"Princess, the king is dead... We all thought he killed himself, but we found a note, he wrote."

"Huh? What did he write?" Aura asked.

"He said, He was killed by an evil spirit; and the spirit said anyone who sat on the throne apart from you will die..." The first senator said.

"I don't believe in all this Superstition! I said someone killed him, we'll locate the killer!!" The woman, the second senator said.

"What if you killed him, Angela?" The fourth asked.

"What?! How can I kill someone who's a lot stronger than me?!" She asked.

"You must have sent someone!" The senator yelled.

"We have proof!!" The woman raised the latter.

"Who's this?" The first senator asked.

Aaron just rolled his eyes: "You guys read the latter... What if it's truly an evil spirit? So why don't we try it?"

The group looked at one another in mild confusion, but Aaron continued:

"If the new Emperor didn't die, he'll have the throne, but if he dies, the spirit is real."

The senators looked at one another, and slowly nodded their heads.

"I have to admit, but the kid does have a point." The third said.

The two girls turned to Aaron, who gave them a reassuring smile... They nodded, and turned to the senators.

"--We have to trust him." Angela said, cutting off Aura.

"Ok!!" The senators turned around to the three.

"I'll take the throne, and if nothing happens to me, I'll be the emperor." The first senator said, moving his gaze on the group, and added:

"And I'm the strongest here, no spirit can do me anything." He turned to the soldiers.

"Be on guard!!"

The twenty soldiers in the hall, nodded, and placed their hands on the hilt of their weapons, ready to act.

The senator smiled at the others, and walked towards the throne like he's the owner.

Aaron, Angela, and Aura watched as he sat down on the golden throne, and slowly feel the hand-rest.

"See this, nothing happened... I'm sitting here without --"

His face instantly turned pale, feeling the dense amount of killing instinct targeted on him... The senator slowly raised his head only to see two white eyes fixed on him. High above the ceiling, a black humanoid figure, moving like a spider stood, its gaze on him.

"AHHHHHH!!!"

The senator screamed, quickly stood up and ran towards the group, screaming.

"It's above us!!!"

The fifth senator grabbed the horrified man, and shook him. "There's nothing there!!" He yelled.

The senator looked up at the ceiling, seeing nothing he was stunned.

"No, there was something there, it's as powerful as a Beast-Ruler."

Now everyone was stunned, a Beast-Ruler, and they're all still alive... Not to say, they could detect a Beast-Ruler from a 100 meters away, let alone in the same room... So they came to a decision, that the senator had got insane.

He said.

Angela looked at Aaron, seeing a mocking smile on his face... She smiled slightly, and turned back to the senators.

"I'll show you there's nothing there."

The fourth senator walked forward, her footsteps making a tap sound, as she got to the throne... She turned around to the group, and looked up at the empty ceiling.

Everyone raised their heads to the ceiling, as she sat down, trying to see any spider human.

The lady observed the ceiling for a long time, seeing nothing, she looked down at the group of people.

"There's nothing there, I have been sitting her for a minute now."

The group looked at one another, and slowly nodded their heads.

"She has a point, the first senator didn't stay this long."

"Yeah, maybe he was hallucinating." The second guessed.

The lady smiled, and relaxed on the throne, at that moment, a hand covered in scale with long claws rested on her shoulder.

The lady instantly froze, she slowly turned her head around, only to see a hideous face, filled with razor sharp teeth, staring at her... Without hesitation:

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!"

She let out a shriek, and leaped out from the throne, falling heavily on the ground, stunning everyone.

They all looked at her in mild confusion, utterly flabbergasted.

"The... The... It's behind the throne!!!" She stammered, crawling backward.

"Soldiers!" The second senator yelled.

The soldiers drew their swords, and cautiously moved towards the throne... The group watched in silent, as fear and tension caught everyone... The time was like in slow motion, but it was only ten seconds, and the soldiers reached the throne.

"Yes!! What is it?!" The first senator asked.

"There's nothing here, Senators." A soldier answered.

"Impossible!! The monster's jaws was just an inch from my face, and you dare say there's nothing there!!!" She stood up from the ground, and walked up to the throne, but was speechless seeing nothing.

"Did you two drink something before coming here?! Or are you playing with us?!!" The second senator yelled, she had enough.

"If you think we're joking, go and sit on the throne!!" The lady yelled, keeping her distance from the throne.

"Fine!!"

The second senator hissed, and walked towards the throne, the soldiers stood close to her, their guard alert.

"Here I go!" She said, and sat down on the throne.

Whoosh!!

"Huh?"

She was stunned seeing herself in darkness... "what happened? Where is everyone?"

She asked in mild confusion, still sitting on the throne.

She looked below her seeing, and instantly turned pale seeing her throne was sitting on dead bodies...

Hearing the growl, she swiftly looked up, seeing a mouth of a beast descending on her... With horror, she tried to move, but couldn't.

"No! I can't die here!!"

She tried to struggle, but was completely useless... "NOOOOOOO!!!"

She screamed, sending all her energy in all direction... She flew out from the throne, and fell heavily on the ground.

"Augh!!"

She opened her eyes, and was stunned seeing herself in the hall.

"What happened?!" She asked.

"If we are drunk, what are you?! Insane?!!" The first Senator yelled at her.

"This?! Don't act confuse here!! You blast them with your Sid energy!!" He yelled.

"What?! No, I didn't... I was..." She was so stunned she couldn't complete a sentence.

"Forget it, are you guys ok?" He asked the soldiers.

"Yes."

They said with difficulty:

"I think there's really an evil spirit on this throne." The third senator said, turning his head to Aaron, Angela and Aura.

"What about the princess? Let her try it." He said.

The group looked at one another, and slowly nodded, that was the only option... They're just lucky the monster didn't kill them.

"I think it's Emperor Hick's spirit." The second said.

"I thought she doesn't believe in superstition?" Aaron asked in a low voice.

Angela nodded, and walked towards the throne. The soldiers quickly created distance from the throne... Not only them, the senators also moved backward.

Angela took a deep breath, and sat down.

The group waited for a whole minute, but nothing happened... Angela was still calm.
