Chapter 2252: Angered Under Depths Monster



All of them might be tired but that does not mean that the Physalia is not getting tired as well. The Power of Kindness is no something that can continuously be used without respite. The Physalia did not stop in regenerating its limbs which meant that it expended lots of its mana in the process.

The baby angel Raphael already told them that the weakness of its powers and that is the burden or cost to use it. The power to heal is not something that could be done easily without a lot of mana. Angels were not a race that could use healing magic naturally, but the Angel Raphael was created specifically for that. He was the only angel that is said to have the power to heal.

The Angel Raphael even asked the Goddess Luminaria once why it is only him that could use such power, but the latter just answered that he was made that way. In truth, the Power of Kindness that awakened from the Angel Raphael was due to his wish to heal the other angels. He awakened this power because of the need for a healer from the angels and he was the kindest of them all.

All of them except for Lilith were already breathing heavily but they could see the tendrils not being healed as fast as before. It seems that even a monster so powerful like the Physalia can also feel exhaustion. Its exhaustion could be noticed because Dodu has finally penetrated deeply onto its skin using corrosion.

Dodu then inserted a tendril of its own and devoured the information that Adrian needed. Scenes of what happened to the Physalia are transmitted directly to Adrian. The scene where it rose to the surface along with its other kind. He also saw the Physalia just floating freely on the ocean when a shining star suddenly pierced its body.

The Physalia even thought that the thing that entered its body was harmful and even tried to cut off the infected part, but it already started fusing with its soul. The Sigil of Kindness suddenly glowed on top of its flat head as it started to gain more intelligence. Suddenly having the Sigil of Kindness also transformed the Physalia into an incredibly intelligent monster that it started to gather and conserve its power.

The Man O' War Giga are a monster species that lived in the Under Depths as a collective, but the Physalia averted them when it got increased intelligence. In fact, the Physalia started devouring more and more prey which increased its size faster. The others of its species were still small compared to it, but the Sigil of Kindness amplified its growth faster as it needed to evolve.

Using the Sigil of Kindness, the Physalia managed to evolve into a mutant variation of its species. It is vastly intelligent while also having the power to heal with just a touch. In fact, it even roamed the oceans to test its healing abilities. The Physalia would catch prey then destroy part of it and then heal it.

It learned that prey that are still alive when healed could regrow parts of its body. Basically, the Physalia learned how to create an infinite food source as it would catch prey and consume it for a long time. It would eat parts of its prey but makes sure it is still alive. When the prey is at the edge of death, the Physalia would heal it back to its original form and continue the process.

Not a lot of monsters could endure torture like that even if they live in the Under Depths. Some of the monsters that it devoured would die from shock a few days or weeks if it is lucky. This practice of hunting made it grow exponentially as before in preparation for its real agenda.

As soon as Adrian received all of the information, he is shocked that the Physalia is more cunning and intelligent than he thought. He also got a glimpse of the true plan of the monster that is before them. Adrian immediately told their most powerful fighter to destroy the monster before them as fast as possible. He even took the baby angel Raphael as he knew that Lilith needed some space to use her powerful spells.

"Seeing as you are in panic, I would need to destroy it as fast as possible. Let the Light of the Sun Darken and destroy the world! Black Sun!" Lilith shouted as she created a large black sun that burned even in the depths of the ocean.

Adrian immediately sealed back Dodu and Wisteria so that they will not be caught by the attack. He also told Kanlaon to collect Altum and Ark so that they do not get caught up as well. The black sun descended onto the enemy monster as more tendrils is launched to protect itself from the attack.

The Physalia looked incredibly angry at them but the power behind the black sun is not ordinary. Adrian looked at Lilith with shock, but he also saw that she was not happy with the spell. It seems that she noticed that the power of the spell was weakened because of the area that they were in. The Pill of the Deep might help them move in water, but their spells and attacks are another issue.

Still, Lilith is still incredibly powerful as the black sun boiled the water and the body of the Physalia along with it. The enemy would have already screamed if it actually had the ability to. Parts of the Physalia tried to heal itself but the black flames of the black sun actually lessened the healing properties of its body.

"Use another one! I can feel it growing stronger!" The baby angel Raphael stated in panic as it was also connected to the enemy when it touched the sigil.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"KUWAAHHH!" The thing that was hidden deep within the body of the Physalia finally emerged and the thing that Adrian saw has finally appeared.
