Chapter 1018 A Dreaded Completion
Chapter 1018 A Dreaded Completion
Gary’s whole body was changing as the dark brown fur grew out from the paws of his skin. His large size was increasing, as his limbs elongated and his upper chest grew in size.
This was the full transformation of Gary Dem, the full transformation that the others had witnessed that day in the videos that had gone viral, with Gary fighting against Sin.
With his full menacing size on sight, there was a strange tingling sensation Ylva could feel.
‘Yes… he certainly is an Alpha!’ Ylva thought. ‘It’s taking everything in my body to not transform myself; this feeling is certainly satisfying!’
She looked to the other two pack members that had been brought with her, and they were practically dribbling out from their mouths, their lips curling upward.
Even though they hadn’t transformed, it was in their nature to attempt to get rid of the large threat in front of them, to protect the Luna.
“Use the energy that you have to fight against the rest, because you’re going to need it.”
Just as Ylva said those words, the two Zodiacs, Berry and Lena, came rushing forward.
The two Werewolves threw wild swings with fierce power, aiming to take them out in one hit, but even though Lena and Berry hadn’t transformed, they were able to dodge with ease and even came in close, delivering a strong blow right to the Werewolves’ ribs.
“I would expect no less for those that are at the top of this country, otherwise things wouldn’t be interesting anymore!” Ylva stated.
Looking through the corner of her eye, that’s when she could see Gary charge forward.
As Gary charged toward Harvor, one of the Zodiacs, Pinner, had come right in front of him, hoping to do some damage.
However, Gary avoided the man completely and grabbed onto his arm. He continued moving forward and then flung the man right onto the cage.
As the body hit the cage, it bent and had torn through, causing the man to fall into the stadium seats.
‘Such raw strength!’ Harvor noticed. “Nobody get close to him, none of you can handle him now!” Harvor said with his arms stretched out and his legs slightly bent as if he was ready for a tackle.
All of the muscles in Harvor’s body tensed up. Heat was building up above his head, visible steam like a kettle.
Gary charged forward with his body and crashed right into Harvor. He was lifted off his feet and crashed into the back of the cage.
However, Gary didn’t stop there; as he continued forward again, he pulled Harvor’s hand and slammed him right into the floor.
Harvor was still conscious despite the two large hits. When Gary went to hit him again, trying to punch Harvor on the ground, Harvor managed to roll his head to the side to avoid the punch and even threw a punch of his own, hitting Gary across the face.
Only it didn’t quite fling Gary’s face to the side like it would have done before. Instead, Gary turned his head back around and tried to snap at Harvor with his mouth.
Just before Gary’s mouth snapped close, Harvor had dug his fingertips, piercing the canvas floor, and then pushed against it, sliding his body across the ground.
The sweat covering his body allowed him to glide slightly further, and when Harvor got up, for the first time, it appeared as if he stumbled slightly, his leg twitched just a little.
“Gary, he’s gotten so strong, so much stronger… to be able to hurt Harvor even if he’s not in his Altered state,” Jayden said.
“Gary’s gone through a lot to protect us all,” Xin said. “And he’s doing the same right now.”
Gary hadn’t actually used his full transformation to fight ever since beating and consuming Sin. Other than the heat resistance and the fire attribute as well as increased stats, he was noticing that his full transformation was also much more powerful as everything was increased slightly.
In the center, the Zodiac members were coming forward, and Gary and his friends were able to keep up with them all, mainly because they weren’t able to transform.
Austin could take Apollo’s hits, and when Austin struck back, Apollo was stunned for a few moments by the heavy blow.
This was the case for most of the Zodiacs that had come forward.
“Man, these guys don’t give up though, and I’m starting to get tired,” Park said. “They keep getting up.”
“Just keep fighting!” Austin said. “We just need to go against them until Gary takes care of Harvor.”
Stanley in the ring had barely made a move. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
“All of you, go for Bree!” Stanley ordered. “It’s because of her none of you are able to use your full strength, so do whatever it takes to take her down!”
Bree expected this to happen, and now the others also knew they would be on guard duty, but just as the order had been given, heavy blows were heard.
They turned their heads and could see Gary had punched Harvor on the side of the head; another arm swung, hitting him on the other side.
It was almost similar to the Dempsey Roll that Jayden had performed. So many loud hits were landing on Harvor.
It was then that Gary leapt back slightly, and then pounced forward, throwing his right fist right into Harvor’s stomach.
He was lifted off his feet again, and this time when crashing into the cage wall, his body ripped right through it, and he continued until he had eventually crashed into the seating area.
“Did… Gary just do it? Did he just finish off Harvor!” Park said with excitement.
There was no movement from the stands for a while, but not long after, chairs started to move, and Harvor could be seen standing up.
“I see… I see, so everyone is against me now. The Lupus Gang, the Howlers, and the Bree Family, so this is the decision that you have made,” Harvor said, standing there straight and strong.
“Very well, Gary Dem, I’ve decided… you’ve earned it.”
Right after Harvor said those words, Gary had heard a ding.
[Quest complete]
It was the first time ever that Gary wasn’t happy to complete a quest.
