Chapter 61 Dissection complete
At the end of the conversation, everyone knew that they had to become serious. At once, everyone went on with the planning of what skills they had and how they will proceed with them.
Lucas was different, he had already thought about everything and now only had to go through with what he had already planned.
At first, he went to the side and started making some jabs in the air to get the knack of it.
He did it slowly for some time but then took the pace. With surprise, he got to know that he was not at all the same as before.
The speed at which he was punching the air and coming back and then doing it again in mere seconds showed the others who were looking and him that the stat increase was really making wonders possible.
Lucas did not feel like he was doing things with efficiency so he increased his pace yet again. The punches that he was throwing with both his left and right hands were becoming somewhat blurry.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
He was going at the pace that would make the professional boxers hide their face in embarrassment.
"You have the basic form correct, did you practice boxing before?" John asked from the side. He was standing with his boys and asking them what skills they had.
Lucas stopped and took a breather, he had gone into a trance not thinking anything, and jabbed until he heard John speak.
"Yeah, I had some basic training."
"Hmm... Now that I think about it... even when you were using the spear, your form looked professional." John stated while he scratched his chin.
"Nothing hides from you huh..." Lucas shook his head with a smile and continued, "I had some basic training for all the weapons I had an interest in."
"Daemm, were you in some martial arts clan or something?" Sean asked from the side and when he saw Lucas did not speak further, he continued, "Were you?"
"Not some clan, bro. I have just been interested in fighting for a long time." Lucas did not say further and John didn't let the conversation go further.
Lucas went on with his punching in the air for 19 more minutes until he became very tired. At last, he went to one of the trees right outside the defense and punched it as hard as he could in an exhausted state with his right hand.
BAM!
Many small wood chips came out of the trunk on impact and there was a small and faint print of his knuckles on the trunk yet nothing further.
The tree did not vibrate, it did not move, it just took the punch like a Chad.
Lucas was ready to shed some blood with this punch but to his surprise there were only some scratches that made his knuckles look like they were dipped in white powder just now.
He went inside the shelter's defense and saw that everyone was looking.
Lucas did not mind and went on with his next routine, calling his family while he took a break.
His mother was on the same level as before and so did his father which was unique in its own way.
The talk with his mother was pleasant and Lucas did not come up with any trade talk and just had a normal conversation. His mother also read between the words and could tell that Lucas was a little tense but she didn't talk about it thinking that he would tell her if he wanted.
She knew that when Lucas decide on a thing, he hardly quit or change it.
-"Lucas, did you eat the animal I gave you?"-
A realisation came again when Lucas sighed thinking he was too dumb.
"Mom, yeah, I ate it, tasted good, I will call you later, something came up. Take care."
-"... Yeah, okay. Just take care of yourself alright?"-
"For sure, bye."
Lucas cut the call after bidding farewell properly. He went briskly inside the shelter and opened the shelter's storage with excitement.
"Damn..." Lucas couldn't help but open his mouth with wide eyes making him look dumb.
The scenery in front of him was something he couldn't unlook.
Lucas was looking at the ground, especially at the place where the big carcass was present.
The only difference was that aside from the carcass, there were numerous things just kept in its place.
Lucas went forward, he still was in awe. In front of him, there was a big pile of properly cut meat pieces stacked together in one big pile that leaked blood staining the floor red.
On the side, there was the whole bone structure intact together right at the side. The big ribs and the other bones that looked very useful were all there.
At its side, there were two eyeballs kept on the floor separately, there was a small chunk of red that Lucas deduced as the long and broad tongue and a mana stone. Enjoy more content from empire
It was not the end as teeth and various claws were kept right at the side of the eyes and lastly, a pile of disgusting intestines, brain matter, and other things that usually went inside a hole in the ground was there in a pile.
Lucas did not do anything and just went outside to bring John along.
When he came inside the storage room briskly, the same expression could be seen on his face as Lucas's.
"Oh my god! The mess!" He exclaimed with a hand on his head.
"We need to clean this up, Uncle John or the stain might remain there for a while."
"How do you think we will clean the stains? The plant water?" John asked to which Lucas nodded with smugness.
"The hell you will! That's the only water we can drink! First, help me put all this stuff outside." John said and went to the only place Lucas dreaded to go close to. The brain matter and the intestines.
Without any restraint, John placed both his hands inside the pile that made a sloppy sound making the meat churn inside Lucas's stomach.
