Chapter 532: Chapter 532 - A Colossal Spear, A Turning Tide
Maylock intently scanning the battlefield. His eyes darted from one point to another, identifying players he needed to connect with. Each time he spotted someone, he pointed them out to Elowen, who would then establish telepathic communication. She even mimicked his tone perfectly.
"This is Maylock. Don't question why my voice is that of a woman," Elowen said, relaying the message. "You, yes, you're the Guild Master of Cute Baby. I know you. You're good at leading your guild, even though your numbers are small. I need your cooperation."
On the battlefield, a swordsman froze in surprise. "Maylock? From the Ass Guild? How? Yes, what should I do?"
"Have your members focus on attacking the Crow Guardian," Elowen continued in Maylock's voice. "Keep it occupied, blocking your attacks. That'll make it harder for the monster to cast its spells."
"Eh, yes, sir!" the man replied, excitement in his voice. "Ah... and I am a fan, haha."
"Stay focused on the task," Elowen relayed smoothly, keeping him on track.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Elowen smiled after completing another connection. So far, she had reached dozens of players, and the strain was starting to wear on her.
"Are you still holding up, Elowen?"
"Yes, Lord Maylock, don't worry. I'll keep going until I pass out," she replied with a grin. "I might just take you up on that—until you actually collapse," Maylock said casually. Elowen giggled. "But how do you seem to know so many people on the battlefield? You even know personal details about them. Like when you praised one person, spoke more bluntly to another, or even pushed a different one harder. How?"
Maylock sighed. "You probably don't realize it, but I'm not the talkative type. I prefer to observe. And without even meaning to, I've ended up watching over too many people- especially those who seem insignificant at first glance."
"Insignificant, but proving to be useful in situations like this, correct?"
The battle continued to rage on, with more and more monsters falling under the relentless attacks of the players. Despite the overwhelming strength of the Three Guardians, their movements were noticeably slower and less agile than they had been at the start of the fight. "Max, is this a good sign?" Tora asked nervously. "Are we finally making some progress?"
"I think so, Tora... I really hope this great war ends soon," Max replied.
"But things have been improving ever since Maylock arrived."
"Yeah, Tora, but we're running low on people, and we're going to need more damage to finish this fight."
Maylock crossed his arms, his face growing more tense as the battle raged on. He sighed deeply before speaking into the guild channel.
"Goldrich, what about support from the other guilds? Can we get more reinforcements?"
"Most of them have already arrived, but it seems the enemies we're facing are too strong."
"This is truly frustrating," Maylock muttered. "It won't be long before the city walls collapse, and when that happens, the monsters will flood into the city."
"So... is destruction inevitable?"
Just moments later, parts of the fortress began to crumble, and monsters began pouring through the breached walls into Deadbay City.
"Max, I think the townspeople are in danger!" Tora shouted.
"Most of the Knights and Troops are focused outside the fortress! The people inside need immediate help!" Max responded.
The air was filled with the sound of terrified screams as monsters rampaged through the streets, smashing everything in their path.
"This situation is dire! We need to get more people inside the fortress now!" Tora exclaimed.
"This might be the most impressive war I've ever witnessed, but also the most devastating one I've ever seen."
Monsters had begun pouring into the streets of Deadbay City, smashing everything in sight. The townspeople, hiding in their homes, were gripped with panic. Some, overcome with fear, started fleeing into the open.
Suddenly, from above, someone leaped down onto the street where a horde of monsters was rampaging. The figure was shorter than most, but stocky and powerful-a dwarf wielding a massive hammer. It was Fokil.
"Fuck off! You're interrupting my work!" Fokil roared. Without hesitation, he charged forward, swinging his hammer with immense force. The blow sent a monster flying through the air.
With a grunt, Fokil jumped and slammed his hammer down again, smashing the creature to pieces on impact. He spun around swiftly, releasing the hammer in a wide arc. It shot forward like a missile, obliterating another monster on contact.
Raising his right hand, the massive hammer shot back into his grip effortlessly. Fokil wiped his brow and glanced toward the city gate. "Ivana?" he muttered, eyes narrowing in that
direction.
On the battlefield, Ivana fought holding off the Gorilla Guardian while Kingsley engaged the surrounding monsters. Her swift movements and powerful strikes were keeping the massive creature on edge, preventing it from counterattacking effectively.
But in a single moment, the tide turned. The Gorilla Guardian managed to grab Ivana, snatching her out of the air. Her shield clattered to the ground as the beast's enormous hand squeezed her tightly. The Guardian then slammed her repeatedly into the dirt, leaving her struggling to break free.
Kingsley, seeing Ivana in peril, immediately shifted into his panther form and dashed toward her with incredible speed. But before he could reach her, a hammer came whirling through the air, striking the Gorilla Guardian's head. The impact caused the Gorilla to stumble, losing its balance momentarily-but it wasn't enough to make it release its grip on Ivana. She was still trapped, and the situation remained dire.
From a distance, Fokil sprinted forward. He raised his right hand, and the hammer flew back into his grasp.
"Don't you dare hurt her!" Fokil roared, charging at full speed. But just before he could reach Ivana, a bright projectile shot through the air, slamming directly into the Gorilla Guardian's chest. The powerful hit sent the giant beast stumbling backward, forcing it to release its grip on Ivana, who fell to the ground.
Fokil rushed forward, quickly catching her.
"Who did that?" they all wondered, looking around for the source of the projectile. Then, as if on cue, they all turned their gaze upward, searching for the mysterious savior in the sky.
Tora pointed to the sky in shock and exclaimed, "Max, what is that?!"
Everyone gasped as a massive magic formation appeared, lighting up the sky. All eyes were fixed in the same direction.
A sharp gasp echoed across the battlefield as the tip of a colossal spear slowly emerged from
the clouds. Yes it was a colossal Spear!
Max muttered, "A massive spear?! Could it be another reinforcement?"
Online viewers were quick to react, commenting wildly, "Hey... look over there! Someone's
riding a Pegasus?!"
"What are you talking about, are you stupid?!"
"No, seriously! Zoom in! It's someone riding a Pegasus!"
Tora's eyes widened as he began to realize the same thing. "Max, do you see that too? Is someone riding a flying horse?"
Max nodded in disbelief. "Yes, Tora, I see it... but it's not a Pegasus."
As the camera zoomed in, the truth became clear. It wasn't a Pegasus-it was a white fox with four tails and wings, gracefully hovering in the sky. Riding the majestic creature was a figure wielding a massive bow, charging not an ordinary arrow, but a spear! He was using a spear as
his arrow.
Meanwhile, another colossal spear began to emerge from the clouds, its size growing clearer by the second.
"What is that?!"
But then, someone shouted, "It's Broken! It's Broken! Broken has arrived!"
