Chapter 77: Kyle To The Rescue?
Kyle decided it was time to spoil himself, it was about time he spent some of that money on himself.
This was the life he earned, Kyle changed his phone and entire wardrobe, he didn't have a fixed fashion style so he bought various clothes.
It was about time he commanded the respect that came with his status.
This was why he needed to start looking for the part; there was a way that people would address him once they perceived he came from money.
There was something twisted about this world, but Kyle was going to exploit it. He had over four hundred million, and it would be stupid if he couldn't enjoy it.
Kyle bought the latest gaming console as well, he knew he could satisfy his inner child to this degree because he could.
PS5 alongside all the games that he could see, he bought every single title because he didn't need to work or do anything.
Kyle returned home, and the amount of items he bought filled his car, both the booth and backseat.
He couldn't take it all in in a single go and had to make multiple trips, he noticed that Jones' car was missing and assumed he had gone to work or gone to start the pending work in the apartment.
.
He was relaxed and didn't give a shit about anything else at this very moment.
He was going to take a day off for himself to sort out and he hurried to set up his new gaming console, sliding in the disc to play some Elden Ring but Kyle was killed multiple times in quick succession.
"I thought games were made to be relaxing! This is far from relaxing!" Kyle barked, he could feel his BP increase with the stress that came with it but he wasn't about to complain.
But once again, his phone buzzed and it was Cassandra, this was unusual.
She messaged him more than she had in a week in the space of an hour.
Kyle finally conceded and picked up his phone to give her a phone call.
She picked up right away but she was sobbing.
[[K-Kyle?]] She called out between sobs which was a bit concerning.
"Hey Cassey, are you alright?" Kyle tried his best to sound as accommodating as he could.
[[I'm sorry for calling you like this but I had no one else?]] Cassandra responded but this sounded familiar.
Why did these women not have anyone or was this just said to make him feel special?
"It is fine, you can call me at any time, what's wrong?" Kyle asked, hoping that she would get to the point without all of this added drama.
[[It's my husband… I caught h–!]] She stopped herself from completing this sentence.
[[Can you come over please?]] Cassandra pleaded and Kyle smiled to himself because he knew what this meant.
"He cheated?" Kyle thought to himself but before he could continue the conversation.
There was a pinging sound emanating from his phone, he looked at it and saw that she had shared her location.
Kyle opted for the Samsung S24 Ultra as opposed to an Apple device because he preferred the Android brand even though most people around him had an iPhone.
He didn't know where to meet, if he told her to meet him at the hotel, the wrong impression could be gotten so it had to be somewhere neutral, Kyle had no plans to go to her house.
This way, he would be in control of the narrative but he didn't know where they could meet because it had to be private enough for her to be able to cry her eyes out.
This way she would be comfortable to be vulnerable because meeting in public limited how she could react, this was surprisingly tricky.
He finally thought of a place they could go to and that was an exclusive restaurant that had different rooms for their customers, this meant that each person booked individual rooms but instead of sex, it was for food.
This was a neat restaurant but it wasn't anything exotic, it wasn't doing as well as it could either because most people didn't like the set-up.
Kyle had never been there and did a quick search the moment he was done with the phone call with Cassandra.
Kyle was skeptical about going there because the reviews weren't so good, some complained about the rooms being too small and others about the food with a few going as far as condemning how dirty this place was.
Kyle was having second thoughts but what was the worst that could happen? It couldn't be that bad.
He got ready, dressing in some of the new clothes he had gotten alongside the perfume, he wore some jewellery. He loved what he saw in the mirror, this was something that he couldn't have envisioned in a million years.
He was on his way there, it was still early but Kyle wanted to make sure the place was in optimal condition to receive Cassandra or if he needed to make a last-minute venue change.
Kyle arrived there soon enough and saw that the place was practically deserted which didn't sit well with him but that could also be because of the time.
This place's activity spiked at night, not during the day so this wasn't so strange after all.
The moment he walked in, he was swarmed and given maximum attention but the women there were actively blushing with how good-looking he was.
This particular attention Kyle wasn't used to, people usually looked at him because he was rich not because of his looks but because this was a mix of both.
Kyle smiled inwardly, he couldn't lie to himself, he loved the attention.
He found a reservation easily but he knew that they must have taken the reviews seriously because the place was sparkling clean.
Kyle couldn't believe how clean it was, they must have given him their best room just as he requested.
They charged an extra fee for the rooms, separate from the meals and services rendered.
That was a smart business plan but poorly executed, the only way this could work was if they had a steady influx of customers but the bad reviews limited the people who walked into this place.
This might be a good thing because it meant that they gave their full attention to the little customers they did have.
Kyle heaved a sigh of relief, it wasn't as bad as he thought. The reviews were clearly an exaggeration but this was why he came in person to give it a try.
He got the room for the day and waited for Cassandra to come in but he didn't have to wait for too long as Cassandra came twenty minutes later.
And just like that, she walked through the door and Kyle was surprised by what she was wearing, it was the exact clothes he told her to wear the first time they met.
It was a black crop top that barely exposed her stomach as her bellybutton wasn't in full view.
Her breasts felt like they were stretching the fabric out, Kyle was surprised she wasn't walking around with a hunched back with something that large on her chest.
She didn't have any bra strap so it was clear that she wasn't wearing any but Kyle couldn't see the outline of her nipples telling him that she must be concealing it somehow.
But Kyle noticed that she had on a skirt that hung just below her knees, it was longer than he would have liked because it would expose her luscious thighs.
"D-Don't stare so much please," Cassandra said but Kyle didn't take his eyes off her. He wanted her to know he liked what he saw.
"You see? I was right, you do look good with that too but I'm more concerned about why you sounded so upset. Please, talk to me," Kyle responded, gesturing for her to take a seat.
Cassandra smiled awkwardly, this was one of the few times that someone had complimented her physique. Even her husband rarely did and that was why Kyle's compliment hit harder than usual.
She had to brush it off but this outfit was something she wouldn't have worn because she had reservations about her current appearance.
This was one of the things having a baby died but Kyle didn't care about any of that.
There was nothing wrong with a little stomach fat.
She sat across Kyle but he noticed that she was no longer a frying mess.
She must have had time to compose herself but the light in her eyes had dulled.
"I-I don't know…" Cassandra was hesitant to open up, looking at the ground. This must be post-sadness clarity.
"You know, we don't have to talk if you don't want to but doesn't stop us from having some fun," Kylr suggested and this seemed to ignite some life in her.
" Y-You are fine with that? I'm sure you think I'm just a nagging woman, I bet you would rather be anywhere else, " Cassandra tried her best to remain calm because she was aware that she had been an inconvenience to Kyle.
" Nonsense, I know how it is. You just needed to get out of the house, a distraction…" Kyle lingered on his last word, his eyes looking at her chest pushing against the table.
"Fuck… They're huge…" Kyle thought to himself.
