"Did you think I would not come to see your mother? Do you think I am a joke? Why can you not take me seriously? Why did you have to fix my engagement with a mer whom I don't even know and that too without my knowledge!" Yu Tong questioned her eyes bursting with flames as she glared at Second Madam Yu.

If not for the fact that glares could not kill, Second Madam Yu would have died many times.

"I am taking you seriously this is the reason why I am marrying you off to a mer with a decent family," Second Madam Yu raised her head and looked at her daughter. "Do you think that I am doing this because I like it? Have you ever thought of yourself, Yu Tong?
