Walking out of the cave, Noah didn't even bother hiding this time; he waved his hands and placed his old black mask to cover his identity. Ruo'er followed behind Noah, dragging two unconscious people with her using her qi.

"What about the rest of these pe— Why did you suddenly wear a mask?" Ruo'er raised her eyebrows, seeing Noah wearing a familiar mask. She had seen him wearing the same mask in the domain where they first met.

Noah didn't say anything in return; his attention was on the girl in his hands. No one knew what was going on inside his mind. Ruo'er didn't say anything anymore, seeing Noah not saying anything.

"Who are you? You are not one of us!" The same woman Ruo'er almost kissed raised her spear at them, not sensing any seal from them. "Where are you taking those two?"

Ruo'er glanced at Noah before charging at the woman. Before leaving, she had placed the two bodies on the ground safely.

As they clashed, sparks of energy flew in the air. The woman was caught off-guard by Ruo'er's speed and battle awareness.

'What is this uneasiness?' She thought that he might join in their battle, but what Noah did next confused her.

Ruo'er rolled her eyes, guessing the woman's tactics. The difference in their cultivation was just of two levels. Since she had a higher-level bloodline and cultivation technique, Ruo'er could keep up with the woman with her high-level skills.

"I alone am enough to deal with the likes of you!" Ruo'er snorted and used the power in her leg to sweep the spear and shake her enemy's balance.

"What arrogant words." The woman jumped back and took an offensive stance. His appearance looked divine under the glow of his soul pressure, but the brilliance was not without a cost.

The dragon scales on his body started to expand as blood gushed out from the gaps between them. Noah maintained his stance and continued with the ritual.

"Cough!" Noah coughed a mouthful of blood after he was finished with his seal. 'To think that I would need this much soul energy to deal with the batch that has been affected the least.'

Noah sighed and sat down on the ground. He closed his eyes and focused on healing himself. His appearance returned to normal. Blood was oozing from every pore on his body. Even his seven orifices were bleeding nonstop.

Ruo'er, who entered the cave after the pressure froze her disappeared. Upon entering, her attention was immediately caught by the bloody figure sitting in the middle of the cave. She covered her mouth in fear, seeing the state of his body.

"Cough!" She turned around and vomited in the corner. It took her a while before she could adjust to seeing him like that.

"How is he not screaming in pain?' Ruo'er's lips quivered just like her voice. She could not imagine herself being able to survive after going through something like that.

She turned and saw Song Liu's figure lying against the wall in the corner of the room. 'Is this because I asked him to save the rest or did he change his mind?'

Ruo'er could not bring her mind to calm down and started to regret asking Noah to save the rest.

She thought that he was exaggerating when he said that he couldn't defend against the curse with his current strength.

Soon her mind calmed down as her eyes changed to pure white. She walked out of the room with a sword in her hands.

'I will definitely protect you, so recover properly.' With eyes blazing with determination, she turned her face towards the incoming guards. Her body glowed with black energy as she rushed forward slashing her sword downwards.
