Chapter 325 – Cauldron that Shocks Beasts
Chapter 325 – Cauldron that Shocks Beasts
Aiko blinked her eyes at the pitiful White Tiger.
"This should teach you not to say things you should, right?" Aiko asked him.
The White Tiger nodded weakly.
"But it's definitely good to know Mei's dark history." Aiko smirked.
The White Tired was startled, but he would not react to this. He was still scared of Mei slamming him into the ground again. Whoever came with that 'suplex' thing must've been a complete demon!
"So, what can you offer me?" Aiko asked him. Now that he has recovered, he should be able to converse with her and give her Treasures.
The first Treasure, allowed one to harness the Wind Element, speeding up the Cultivation of Wind Cultivators, but it also allowed Wind-type Beasts to nurture their Wind-based Bloodlines.
The second Treasure, allowed one to harness the Lightning Element, speeding up the Cultivation of Lightning Cultivators, but it also allowed Lightning-type Beasts to nurture their Lightning-based Bloodlines.
The third Treasure allowed to disperse part of the Heavenly Clouds. In other words, it would allow you to reduce the power of Heavenly Lightning or Disaster Lightning.
Aiko was very interested in the first two, since she believed she would be able to recreate that effect as long as it was an Inscription!
However, to her shock, those Runes were woven into the material! That means there was yet another application of the Runic Language that she didn't know.
'Since I will have my own Cauldron later and it will be inside my body...' Aiko narrowed her eyes. 'It should be possible to create them, right?'
"How did you get these Treasures?" Aiko asked the White Tiger.
"You nurture them inside your body." The White Tiger replied immediately.
"You need a very powerful Beast Core that can compress and meld materials, but you need to have the same element as those materials." The White Tiger warned.
"Then how about the lightning one?" Aiko pointed at the Treasure that was of the Lightning Element.
"That was by chance. I was hit by lightning and it sort of happened." The White Tiger scratched his head.
Aiko really wanted to know what his Luck or Providence stat was. It must be astronomical, considering his damn luck!
She shook her head. "Okay, how can I make one?"
Aiko was curious about this, since she could share them later with her tea-
"That is impossible." The White Tiger said, shattering Aiko's dreams.
"W-why?!" Aiko cried out.
"Foxes have their Beast Cores 10x times weaker, so you need to create your 'Pearl' in order to be able to create these things." The White Tiger sighed.
"Pearl?" Aiko blinked a few times.
"Once you clear the 'Human' path, you will be awarded the ability to create a special Pearl." The White Tiger kept explaining. "That is the embodiment of your Elemental Affinities, Knowledge, different kinds of Qis and so on."
"The better this Pearl is, the higher your Cultivation roof is." The White Tiger nodded. "You can even use your Beast Techniques and Abilities while in 'Human' form!" The White tiger proclaimed, with jealousy all over his face.
Other Beasts would be unable to use most of their Abilities in Human form, but Foxes could use all of them! How unfair was that!?
"Oooooooh!" Aiko had her hopes rekindled. "But what if I have a powerful Beast Core?" She narrowed her eyes.
"You still need a dedicated place to put that thing. If you are not careful, it could pollute your body and poison you." The White Tiger shook his head.
"Oh..." Aiko had her dreams shatter again, but this time she felt a bit strange. 'Can't I just use the future Cauldron to host those things? But it would have to be much bigger for that to work...' She groaned unhappily.
"You wouldn't happen to know where I can get pure Meteorite, right?" Aiko groaned.
"I don't know." The White Tiger shook his head.
Aiko felt sad at this, but then the White Tiger continued. "But that guy can locate Minerals-" The White Tiger was startled at the speed of the tiny Fox.
"Can you locate a Meteorite?" Aiko's eyes shined as she was right next to the Three-Legged Crow.
The Three-Legged Crow was shocked by her speed and gulped. 'Good boy, you did well not to antagonise her too much!' He sweated buckets.
"I can find those." The Three-Legged Crow replied positively. 'But I can't let her have a normal Meteorite, it needs to be either mutated or blessed...' He narrowed his eyes.
"Are there inside this place, or will we have to look outside?" Aiko's eyes shined.
"This place was already stripped, I can feel only a few common materials..." The Three-Legged Crow shook his head.
Those 'common' materials would be priceless Treasures in the Mortal World, but since the Three-Legged Crow came from the Immortal World, those things didn't even enter his eyes!
He would find the best materials for this tiny Fox!
"What do you need it for?" The Three-Legged Crow asked, so that he could choose metal that would fit her purpose.
"I want to create [The Ever Shaping Cauldron]!" Aiko proclaimed loudly.
Every Mythical Beast froze and looked at the tiny Fox.
"You are joking." The Most shocked one, was the Azure Dragon, since his Clan had one of such Cauldrons.
"I'm not!" Aiko pouted unhappily. "But I need proper metal, Divine Sense and Spiritual Fire to make it."
The Beasts almost fainted when they heard that and Mei was nodding happily. 'Finally, I'm not the only one to have heart attacks from little Aiko.' She nodded approvingly.
They didn't need anything else to be described.
"Do you have the 'original' version?" The Azure Dragon asked cautiously.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
"Yes, it can reach the [The Shapeless Cauldron] form." Mei answered for Aiko.
The Mythical Beasts fainted, even the Azure Dragon. They knew how powerful this thing could become and that was why they had to guard it with their lives. Nobody can know who has that Cauldron, or it would ruin Empires and even Worlds!
...
It took them a while to recover from that shock.
They were glancing at each other, like they were trying to assess the situation.
It would not be a good idea if anyone outside this place heard about this.
Everyone nodded at the same time as if they made some kind of plan.
"I,-
the Azure Dragon
The White Tiger
The Three-Legged Crow
The Black Tortoise
- sweat upon our name and Soul that we won't tell a Soul about what happened within this small Realm. If we as much as hint at what happened here. The Great Dao will strike us!"
They all solemnly swore and vowed not on the Heavenly Dao, but on the Great Dao.
Heavenly Dao could be considered a small Dao, but the Great Dao ruled over many small Dao and would not discriminate against anyone. As such, this was the best vow they could make, as there was a chance that the Human Cultivators might promise them to erase this vow if they got the information on that little Fox.
But with the vow of the Great Dao, that would be impossible.
Aiko was startled and Mei clapped happily. "I didn't think I would hear you say those words again."
"Don't insult us, Mei. We all understand the importance of this situation and what it might cause in the future." The Black Tortoise was serious for the first time since he appeared in front of them.
"It is important that she doesn't use it in front of others, but we are in Mortal World, so it will be alright if she uses it in private." The Three-Legged Crow said seriously.
"I think Mei should manage Pills or anything that comes from [The Ever Shaping Cauldron], if the market floods with the Pills and Treasure, not only will it collapse the market, but it would also cause too many questions." The White Tiger added.
"I agree with them, Mei. How about you create some kind of special business that can accommodate Pills and Treasures?" The Azure Dragon asked.
"I would do that even if you didn't tell me." Mei snorted unhappily. "I don't plan to create any business, since it would be difficult to move." She shook her head.
"Hmmmmmmmm..." The Mythical Beasts pondered on it.
"How are her Pills?" The White Tiger asked.
"Presentable." Mei tilted her head.
"Then it should be alright to flood the market." The White Tiger said. "As long as they are not as good as yours, there should be no issue." He nodded to himself, but other Beasts followed.
"That is true. If she was as monstrous in Pills as you were, it would be impossible to sell them." The Black Tortoise said.
"But what about her Forging Skills?" The Three-Legged Crow asked. Aiko's Pills might not be as good as Mei's, but what about the Treasures?
"She doesn't Forge, but specialises in Inscriptions." Mei commented. "She IS a monster in that." She shook her head.
"Hmmmmmm...." The Mythical Beasts paused.
"She is forbidden to sell Treasures. I think you agree with us, right, Mei?" They narrowed their eyes. It was difficult to weave Inscriptions while Forging, so most Forging Cultivators would not do it.
However, everything changed if you include [The Ever Shaping Cauldron], as it's inside one's body, it would allow the weaving of the Runes much more easily, creating many monstrous Artefacts and Treasures.
"It is only natural that those Artefacts would be used only by our faction." Mei narrowed her eyes.
"... Fine..." The Mythical Beasts didn't want to agree, but at the same time, they could not limit Mei and Aiko.
As such, they could only concede for now.
"My Sacred Azure Dragon Clan will protect you once you arrive in the Immortal World." The Azure Dragon said.
"That is, if it still exists." Mei threw a jab at him.
"Auch. How mean." The Azure Dragon chuckled.
"With that out of the way..." The Mythical Beasts narrowed their eyes.
They all swore that their Clans would protect Aiko when she arrived in the Immortal World and even if their Clans no longer existed. They can just create new ones and put pressure on others, so that Aiko has enough time to grow in strength.
Even if they staked their lives on it, they would do it, so that their Clans would have the possibility of reviving into a new era!
