Chapter 64 :
"What the fuck!" Felix's eyes widened in terror as he observed Jarvis.
When Jarvis turned to look at him, Felix noticed that there were no pupils in his eyes, only blood, his eyes were filled with boiling blood.
It was as if he was staring into a bottomless pool of blood, filled with the anguish and despair of lost souls. Felix felt like he was paralyzed, unable to move as if bound by an invisible force.
Jarvis's expression remained completely emotionless. However, after a moment, Jarvis's eyes returned to normal, and Felix felt a wave of relief wash over him. He realized that his back was completely soaked in cold sweats.
He wiped the sweats off his forehead and cautiously approached Jarvis, still wary of what had just transpired.
"Jarvis!" Felix called out softly.
Jarvis raised his head and looked at him and nodded, his face betraying no emotion.
Felix couldn't help but heaved a sigh of relief, a smile appeared on his face.
"What was that about earlier?" Felix inquired, his curiosity piqued.
" What!?" Jarvis seemed confused.
" I mean earlier I saw that your eyes they changed, I saw a pool of blood deep in your eyes what was that?" Felix said.
"That's nothing, this is just a technique I'm using to recover my strength" Jarvis said indifferently.
" Oh"Felix nodded, deciding not to press further.
"Oh " Felix nodded, he didn't asked further. He looked at Jarvis with narrowed eyes.
"This guy is really mysterious, I need to find more about this guy " Felix thought.
"Your strength have increased" Suddenly Jarvis voice interrupted Felix train of thoughts.
Felix looked at Jarvis and nodded, "Yeah I broke through to Tier 2 Intermediate Dual Mage and also made a break through to Tier 1 Beginner Knight".
"You are a dual mage?" Jarvis eyes flashed with surprise.
"Yeah, fire and lightening" Felix chuckled.
"You're quite talented," Jarvis nodded and said.
Felix's lips twitched, "What do you mean quite talented? I'm super talented, okay," he muttered under his breath and looked at Jarvis displeased.
"I'm not trying to say anything, but there are a lot of talented people out there who are more talented than you. For example, just in the Silvandell Empire alone, there are a lot of Elves who have all five elements, and there are also individuals who have an affinity to the space element," Jarvis looked at Felix and calmly said.
"So when I said you're quite talented, I was actually praising you," Jarvis added.
"I know that there are a lot more talented people out there than me," Felix smiled and nodded. He wasn't that arrogant to think that just because he was a dual elemental Mage, he was already on top of the world. That would just let him die faster.
"Jarvis, I've been meaning to ask you something," Felix said to Jarvis.
"Go ahead," Jarvis nodded.
"Well, you see, I'm both a Knight and a Mage. Do you think I should reveal both of my Cultivation paths or just reveal only one? And if so, which one?" Felix smiled and said. Although he had already decided to only reveal his Knight Cultivation and hide his Mage Cultivation, he just wanted to hear Jarvis' opinion.
Jarvis thought for a moment and said, "I think you should hide your Mage Cultivation instead."
"Just as I thought," Felix smiled. Read engaging stories on m vl-em|p-yr
Jarvis looked at Felix and continued, "If I'm right, you and the others don't have any powerful background, right?"
Felix nodded in confirmation.
"Then, the more you should hide your strength and abilities and only reveal a small part," Jarvis shrugged his shoulders.
"In this world, only the strong and those with powerful backgrounds can truly live the life they desire. Unfortunately, you don't have a powerful background or the strength to protect yourself. There are many people who may become jealous of your talents, see you as a threat, or try to drag you into power struggles " Jarvis continued.
Felix nodded in understanding and said, "You know, I've already decided to keep my Mage Cultivation hidden. And I wanted to ask you, why do Mages seem to be more respected than Knights?"
Jarvis looked at Felix for a moment before responding, "The reason Mages are highly respected is because of their powerful minds and high comprehension abilities. To become a Mage, you need to have a strong soul and exceptional comprehension skills."
"Yeah, I know that," Felix nodded.
Jarvis continued, "Becoming a Mage is challenging because of these requirements. Compared to becoming a knight, it's much easier as long as you have a knight Cultivation and some talent. Mages are the only ones who can inscribe runes well, aside from dwarfs and blacksmiths. They are also the only ones who can create magic formations, which require high comprehension and a strong soul."
Felix nodded in understanding. He finally grasped why Mages are more respected than Knights.
Becoming a Mage is difficult, relying on high talents, comprehension, and a strong soul. On the other hand, becoming a knight is relatively easy as long as you have a Cultivation technique and some talent.
However, in this world, all Cultivation resources are monopolized by powerful individuals and factions, making it challenging for ordinary people to access them.
Even though becoming a Mage is difficult, there are resources available to test one's talent but all the resources have been monopolized by the Powerful.
Like what happened with Trinity, Zephyr, Gwendolyn, Brixton, and Nixie. Without the system to scan their talents, Felix wouldn't have known how talented they were.
This is because the resources are monopolized by the powerful, allowing only them to benefit from them.
Felix let out a sigh and shook his head, feeling disheartened by the cruel and bloody world he found himself in.
It seemed like the powerful had all the advantages, while the poor were left to struggle and be trampled on by those stronger than them.
It was a harsh reality compared to Earth, where opportunities were abundant for anyone willing to work hard.
Take Felix, for example. He was born an orphan, without any powerful or wealthy connections.
Despite his humble beginnings, he managed to build a billion-dollar business empire from scratch.
Sure, he had natural talents and a high IQ, but he knew that hard work was the key to success. He didn't rely solely on his gifts - he put in the effort and dedication needed to achieve his goals.
In this world, though, it seemed like most people believed that success was reserved for the privileged few.
That negative mindset held them back, when in reality, many successful individuals came from humble backgrounds. They relied on themselves and their hard work to make it to the top.
Life may not be fair, with some born into wealth and others into poverty.
Some have loving families, while others are left to fend for themselves. It's easy to envy what others have, but that doesn't mean you can't achieve success yourself.
Talent isn't everything - hard work and determination can lead to great things if you put in the effort.
Felix shook his head, snapping out of his thoughts. He looked at Jarvis and asked, "So, what's your current strength now? I mean, how much have you recovered?"
Jarvis looked at Felix casually and replied, "Tier 5 Grandmaster Knight."
Felix's eyes widened in shock. "What the! Weren't you completely weak just two days ago? How did you become so strong so quickly?"
Confused, Felix asked, "How did you become so strong in such a short time?"
Jarvis explained, "I have surpassed all those Tiers and I am already above the Tier 9 Realm. Since I have been re-cultivating, breaking through is really easy."
Felix looked at Jarvis for a moment with narrowed and nodded.
"Ok if there is nothing else I'll be going to tend my butler duties " Jarvis said and made his way out of the training ground.
Felix rubbed his chin as he looked at Jarvis back, a subtle smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.
"Interesting, really interesting " Felix chuckled.
"Host do you want the rest of the information "the system voice sounded in Felix mind.
"No " Felix shook his head,"but keep taps on him ".
"Yes Host" the system voice sounded.
"Host I also wanted to remind you that, the side mission have been completed".
"It's about time that mission is completed" Felix smiled and nodded.

FIVE DAYS LATER
------------------------------
Five days passed by in a blink of an eye.
Bridgemoor City, Adventurer District, Adventurer Guild building.
A lot of adventurers were coming in and out of the Adventurer Guild talking among themselves.
"Did you hear, two adventurers have been in dungeon spree for these couple of days " Two adventurers walking out of the Adventurer Guild one of them said.
"Yeah I've heard about that, apparently for the past few days they have been clearing bronze rank dungeons " the other one said.
" Yeah and I've heard that they conquered three bronze rank dungeons and also beat all the previous records" the other one said.
"Hey big sis, it looks like we're getting pretty famous now," Brixton said as he stood on the corner, eavesdropping on other Adventurers talking about them.
Trinity, standing beside him, nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, but we still have a long way to go," Trinity replied, shaking her head. Brixton looked confused and asked, "What do you mean?"
Trinity explained, "Sure, we're getting some recognition now, but we need to keep working hard to really make a name for ourselves."
Brixton nodded in understanding and asked, "So, big sis, which bronze dungeon are we taking on today?"
Trinity looked ahead with a smile and confidently said, "Silver Rank."
