The Invincible Full-Moon System

Chapter 1343 New Origin

Due to the Inner Fang problem, Rex came to a decision that he wouldn't confess to Agatha.

It would make the base of their relationship to be a lie but there was no other choice.

I can only rely on when she was older. I hope she would understand.

Of course, there was another truth that Ruston killed his biological parents—but Rex was not going to tell that to Agatha. He decided to preserve Ruston's image in Agatha's eyes, he was her brother, after all.

"So what about raw meat, Your Highness?" Valkis asked curiously.

He was still thinking about the fact that Rex had no Inner Fang or rather, devoured it.

Rex turned towards him and raised an eyebrow, "What about it?"

"Do you eat raw meat? Human meat? Supernatural meat? Or any meat at all?"

"I eat animal meat and that's cooked"

"Cooked? Does it even taste good?"

"I have two forms. Fortunately, my human form still retains human tastebuds"

Valkis nodded his head repeatedly, his eyes were sparkling with an insatiable curiosity.

Having the chance to talk to the Royal Black Prince, he wasn't going to waste it.

Rex stood up from his seat, "Excuse me for a bit,"

Excusing himself, he went back to the mouth of the cave and stepped out.

He gazed up to the starry night sky before he contacted Evelyn through telepathy.

Evelyn, can you hear me?

'Yes, I can hear you. Have you sensed it already?'

Hmm...? Sense what?

'It's the last Angel, Catherine and Radiel's other friend, we found him'

Did he create trouble again?

'No, I handled it. Now I'm going to talk with him. If it's not for this, why did you contact me?'

I'm in the Werewolf territory and I want to bring Agatha back home, can I bring her home?

'Agatha? Another woman again?'

It's Ruston's sister, I'll tell you about her but it's nothing like that.

'I'm happy that you told me and yes, you can bring her here. We still have many rooms.'

No, she would be living with the people, not with us. Don't worry.

'Okay, when are you coming back?'

Right now, I'm going to make the teleportation formation. Activate the city's for me. Also, the meeting with this Angel, don't let him make it into a deal. Extract information, but do not give him anything.

'Come back home safely, I have to go'

As the connection was cut off, Rex kept gazing at the sky for a bit more.

He came here with one reason only and that is to bring Agatha back to Dargena City.

If he planned to welcome more Supernaturals into the city, he couldn't imagine a better test, than having Agatha there. Not only was she a born Werewolf—who had never set foot in the society of Humans, but she was also tied to Ruston.

Rex believed that if he could help Agatha settle without a problem then the city was ready.

And more importantly, if Agatha settled, that means he was also ready.

"Emperor Rex...!"

Hearing his name being called, Rex turned and saw Agatha behind him, smiling broadly.

Behind him was the Feral Phantomclaw Pack who were informed of the purpose of his visit.

"What do they say?"

"All of them are willing to follow me, I'm so happy!"

"Great, then let me make the formation first. We can go once I'm finished"

"Okay!" Agatha nodded cheerfully before handing him something. "Here, eat this"

Rex looked at his hand and saw a wrap of leaves, he saw the others were chewing on it too.

"What is this?" He asked despite already scanning it with the System.

Agatha then pointed at the moon, "It's to help you regulate your emotions, the Demon Moon is near"

Upon hearing this, Rex nodded and put the wrap of leaves into his mouth.

He chewed on it and found it extremely bitter but then again, it was medical herb leaves.

Pivoting towards the three Alpha Primes on the side, Rex went over to them as the attack was going to happen soon, "Go to the Elven Territory—they would be expecting all of you along with your packs. Help them take down a Lord Order Beast called Shadow"n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"As you wish, Your Highness," Mavok nodded before going away with the others.

None of them would be going with him, all would help Adhara in the Elven territory.

Rex then turned towards the distance, "Vivian! Come, we're going back!"

"Yes, Your Majesty" Vivian landed near him, kneeling on the ground.

Seeing her managing to fulfill every task that she was given, Rex commended her inside.

Her tasks were quite hard to finish but she finished them anyway.

"Your work here pleased me, Vivian. You finished all of your tasks flawlessly, from finding the Bloodstone Crater to finding Agatha. Heck, it's almost as if you've gotten help from someone who knew the Werewolf territory very well" Rex commented, nodding his head.

Upon hearing this, Vivian slightly stiffened.

But she kept her cool and nodded, "You flatter me, I'm simply doing what I can do"

"As promised, I will accept you and Jarvald to my pack. I expect great things from you,"

"Yes, Your Majesty. I will try to match your expectations"

Just like that, his matters here were completed, and it was time to go back.

...

Knowing that the Angel was still a hostile entity—Dindora, Linthia—along with several of the strongest Awakened in the city gathered at the castle. All of them stood inside the prepared room for Evelyn to talk with the Angel.

Not to mention, the formations and spells that were prepared were a lot.

Dindora and Linthia wouldn't let Evelyn talk to the Angel without the room being secure.

Even though the castle itself was a fortress of defensive layers, none of them wanted to deal with the possibility of Evelyn, their Empress—being harmed under their nose. It would be one big embarrassment if it happened and a catastrophe when the Emperor came back.

It took a couple of hours before the room was finally ready.

Once the preparation was done, Evelyn was notified.

She had gotten off from Rex and was waiting in the throne room for the preparation to finish.

Giana had been returned while Ryze was locked in the dungeon underneath the castle.

Evelyn didn't know what happened but Ryze was berserk, turning into his Draconic form, and was on a rampage when he was found. It took Dindora and Evelyn herself to capture him and bring him back.

Striding along the hallway, Evelyn reached the designated room.

Guards and also the Bevryth Family were lined up along the hallway in preparation.

Valthor opened the door for her before she stepped inside the room.

Immediately, her eyes fixed on the Angel in his real form, sitting on a single sofa.

A middle-aged man with short white hair and golden markings marred the entire left side of his face, it looked to be a clan marking or the sort that is branched and shaped like the sun. In addition, above him was a golden halo, the same color as his golden eyes.

Beside him was a massive, sheathed golden katana, his weapon.

Evelyn turned towards Valthor and asked, "Why does he still have his weapon?"

"Well, the thing is, Your Majesty, we couldn't take it from him" Valthor replied truthfully.

However, Evelyn could see that it wasn't that they were incapable—of taking the katana from the Angel but the katana itself was a part of the Angel. She could see a golden light that was gluing the katana onto the Angel's hand.

Nodding her head, Evelyn went over to the single sofa across the Angel.

Both were separated by a long table.

Other than giving them space, it would also help the others react if the Angel attacked.

As soon as she reached her seat—her entire form blazed with crimson fire—as she activated her spirit and turned into her Gladiator Form. Her outfit changed and her crimson hair burned and swayed.

Knowing nothing about the Angel, she couldn't afford to be reckless.

Sitting down, she crossed her legs in a relaxed manner.

"Let's start with a small introduction, I am Empress Evelyn, what is your name?"

"Eryndor, Master of the Fifth Battalion of Light—loyal to the True Light"

"Hmm..." Evelyn squinted, focusing on his microexpressions. "So tell me, Master Eryndor, was it your intention here to save your subordinates, Catherine—and Radiel? Or is there any other reason?"

"I come here for them, nothing else" Eryndor replied, his voice firm.

Despite his situation, he seemed to be calm, too calm to Evelyn's liking.

She could tell that he had been in several extreme situations in his life to be this composed.

"Since you asked a question, let me ask you mine. Is it true that the Fifthborn was defeated by the emperor of this land? A Man-Werewolf Hybrid named Rex Silverstar?" Eryndor asked—his eyes gleamed with curiosity.

Upon hearing this, Evelyn remained silent.

Her silence was enough to answer the question, and that made Eryndor lean back.

"So where is the emperor? Is he not here?"

"Believe me. If he was here, you would die before you know it—trying to pull off what you did is quite brave knowing the ruler of this land"

"The Empress is kinder I see?"

"Let me be frank, Master Eryndor," Evelyn leaned forward, her blazing eyes staring directly at the Angel before her. "Your infiltration to this castle was a mistake. Nadia—the young girl you used has a deep connection with the emperor, and he does not take that lightly. He had sent an order to behead you right here but you're still breathing because of me" Continue reading on empire

"I am the law, the verdict, and the blade over your life at this moment" She raised her hand.

In a union, the guards inside the room pointed their weapons at Eryndor.

Dindora and Linthia in particular—stood behind him and also pointed their weapons at him.

"So unless you want this kind Empress to end you, you would mind your manner" She added.

It was obvious that Eryndor was taking her lightly.

Just because she was not the Emperor doesn't mean she was weak and could be poked.

Seeing this, Eryndor raised both of his hands, "Please, go ahead, ask me anything you want"

Evelyn waved her hand again, easing the guards.

"Now that we're on the same page—tell me why you came here to save them instead of what you are supposed to do, locating the place of the Fifthborn's death"

"I came because I care about them"

"More than you care for your race?"

"No, but like I said, I am loyal to the True Light, the Original Light. And it commanded to keep safe of one another"

Upon hearing this, Evelyn nodded, it seemed he was not lying.

"And, what about the purpose of you coming to our continent? Why do you seek to locate the place where the Fifthborn died? What is the importance of that location for the Angel race? It is essential for you to answer this as clearly as possible" Evelyn asked again.

Compared to the questions before, this one is what she wanted to know the most.

She wanted to know why the Angel race turned their sight to the Fifthborn's death location.

"Before I answer that, can I at least see if Catherine and Radiel are alive and well?" He asked.

Evelyn, impatient, flicked her fingers instantly.

Dindora went over to open the door as a guard pushed Catherine and Radiel inside.

Both of them were restrained but they didn't seem to be harmed.

"As you can see, no harm had been done to them. Now answer the question" Evelyn pressed.

Now that he knew his subordinates were safe, Eryndor had no reason to keep the answer. He already surrendered himself the moment he accepted Evelyn's deal—and be brought into the castle so he had no choice now.

"Before I answer, I want you to guarantee our safety from the emperor. Give me your words"

"You have my words. Now answer"

Upon hearing this, Eryndor paused for a brief moment before he eventually sighed.

"Void..." He began, his expression serious. "He is aspiring to become the new light—the new Origin"
